So, I look out the window and there’s a dude in a bucket changing a lightbulb in our building’s parking lot. Of course, I immediately think of Russ!

Is a six month long winter in Iowa akin to Mark Twain's famous quip about the City by the Bay?
“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.”

OK -- so maybe he never said it. So what? ;)
Summer evenings in "The City" (as folks in the Bay Area refer to it -- at least they did when we lived out there) can test one's mettle.
