Scored a set of mint SRS 2.3's from a vet for 400.00 ... all I can say is wow

running a pioneer SX850 for my preamp , through a Yamaha professional series PC4002m,
400 pluswatts per channel... UNBELIEVABLE ... hearing things never heard before.....

Don't see why mods would be necessary. awesome STOCK

    You've got a pair of speakers capable of higher fidelity. Tweeter and crossover mods are a must do. After that get a real pre amp, power amp and cables.

    Having owned and performed the mods on a set of 2.3TLs, the before and after is a considerable improvement.
