    That reminds me when I saw Van Halen back in the day (early 80's) David Lee Roth would talk to the crowd between songs, every song, after a while it became annoying. Dude just sing and let the band play! :smile:

    But at the same time, I've seen artists/bands rip through sets with out any crowd interaction

    I thought the VH-1984 tour was great, joking around, and rips we had a great time

    Extra special bonus -- Bobby & Phil :p were joined by multi-instrumentalist par excellence Larry Campbell and the Mrs. -- better known as singer Teresa Williams.
    They played 'til midnight -- not bad for a coupla of old geezers (Bobby & Phil, that is).

    Also -- I think it's fair to say that Teresa mopped the floor with Donna Jean's part on The Music Never Stopped. Larry & Teresa both are the real deal.

    Larry and Theresa are indeed the real deal. Seen them several times recently. Larry was my fave all-time in the best band Dylan ever had.
