Merry Christmas

It started to snow here in PA. We have not had a white Christmas in years.
It's ok to hit the eggnog hard today so have a good one everyone.

Merry Christmas to you. I am in NC now but spent most of my life in Northeast Pa. and I gotta say, I don't miss snow at all.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

It snowed in Chicago on the 24th and it was sunny (but cold) on the 25th.

Next Christmas we'll be in St. Louis! We're actually moving there this February. Now that the holidays are over I've got to start dismantling things and get them all packed up. It's going to be a difficult move because we have a 2-week gap between our lease ending at our current apartment and our lease beginning at our new apartment. Essentially, we'll be moving all of our stuff to public storage for 2-weeks with a Uhaul and then the professional movers will pick up our stuff from PS and take it to our new place in St. Louis. If you're in the Chicagoland area and would be willing to assist with the initial move of stuff from the current apartment to Public Storage, we're offering free pizza and beer to all volunteers!

The man on tv said Columbus Ohio technically had a white Christmas. Pff...if that stuff doesn’t bury my grass I am not calling it a white Christmas.

    Now it’s just nasty cold.

After 3 years of Ft Devens I don't miss snow. San Diego has been cold for us, almost hit 70 today.

I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

Fort Devens was the first army base that my father was sent to from Vermont after he was drafted in 1943. The beginning of a long, long journey. :p
