Are Yaqin integrated tube amps decent?

https://quadcities.craigslist.org/ele/d/yaqin-ms-30l-el34-integrated/6414481189.html

Seriously thinking about this ML 30 with EL 34s the price seems right and I'm asumming it should drive my CRS+s, or my 2bs thoughts anyone?

$350 is a good entry price. If you've been wanting to try a tube amp that isn't a bad one for the money. You could do MUCH worse.

The MS30L is a solid entry into the lighter powered EL34 world. It won't drop your jaw to the floor but it will do a good job of controlling smaller, less demanding speakers (or big high efficiency ones).

That seems like a very fair price. I have a Yaqin 100B and it seems to be fairly well made and has worked without issue the few years I've had it. I tried it on my 1.2tls a while back (all 60wpc) just for grins. It drove them yes; but tube amps on SDA's just aren't my cup of tea. Where'd that bass go and hide???

Maybe there's local competition and he was priced a little too high.

Just looked at the spec's. That thing really weighs 55 lbs?

The KT88 based MC100B's can punch up a bit more bass for sure... Then with a tube upgrade... you can drive most anything.... I had mine with my 2.3's and it was sweet.

Just curious; I see you're using your description of the MC100B on your 2.3s in the past tense so I'm just wondering what amp did it replace and what amp replaced it?

Passing on this deal, got two weekends of deer hunting starting tomorrow and as much as I would like to try this at this price it will cut into my beer spending money. I'm happy with my Vincent Preamp for now. Thanks all for all the advice I guess If I wait a while a better integrated tube amp will become available.

I'm thinking you're going to have to wait a very long time to find a deal that'll better that one. I wouldn't be surprised if it's long gone anyways and the seller hasn't gotten around to taking the ad down.

Hey I'm already upset about passing on this one at this price if it's still available Sunday night when I get back I might give it a shot. If anyone is interested in this and close to the Quad Cities I would be more than happy to get it hold it and meet at a half way point.

Excuses; A quick story about how I picked up my Yaqin. I had just gotten laid off from work that week when I found a fair deal on a 2nd Mac mc2500 halfway across the continent. I was terribly disappointed when the seller decided the 129lb amp was too much to ship. So I find my Yaqin locally as a consolation unit; buy it and I'm in the car with it when I get a text from the seller of the 2500. He's changed his mind now and will ship it after all. Sooo with no job, near Christmas and budget beyond stretched thin I went for it and still have both units. I had plenty of excuses to and I'm glad now that I didn't use them :) .
