Selling this little beauty, as I’ve purchased something else with a little more MC cartridge loading options. This is a fantastic sounding phono stage. The stock Chinese tubes are horrible, they must be changed to something else, a tube swap brings this guy to another level. Retail is 1500 USD from morning star. I’m asking for 650. You won’t find anything this good in the price range. There is only one small nick in the paint where the middle tube shield comes off, otherwise it is one fine piece of audio jewelry. I have original double boxes, and packaging. This did not come with a power cord, which I assume you will swap one out anyway.
If my asking price is payed I will throw in 4 tube rectifiers. I have a 60’s Tung Sol, Haltron black glass, 1 RCA BP from the 60’s, and one RCA BP from the early 50’s. I’ve been using amperex/ Holland 7025A tubes, this has been the best sound I have gotten from it so far.
