I'm putting this whole audio hobby on the shelf for a while...

No, literally. The whole thing. Shelved!

pcbq81bgxdxv.jpg

I'm blabbing away on another thread about how I'm going to be moving into a new house and will be doing up a nice man-cave. But in the interim, I want all my gear out of the way, nice and safe in climate controlled storage. We've got a few projects that we want to do in the condo before we sell it, projects to do in the house before I set everything up, so I want everything safe and sound and out of the way. So 1200 records, all my gear and speakers, assorted spare parts, accessories, cleaning machine, etc. My whole audio world, all boxed up and on a shelf! Don't see that every day!!!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Lucky you who only has to do it once. This is what my system looks like every time I go to a show, only its crammed into the back of my SUV with my chest buried in the steering wheel for hours.

Setting it all back up is fun though. It feels like a fresh start even though nothing has changed.

    Pre-planning your move is fantastic.

Now what came to my mind was " Storage Wars ".

I can see people asking." I wonder what's in those boxes ?
I can hear them asking " I wonder what's under those moving blankets ?

    Then I hear the bid only goes up to 250.00 ... :o :# :'(
Most people just listen to music and watch movies . I am glad to be a part of a select group that tries to take our auditory and visual senses to a higher level: we EXPERIENCE them.... GOT SDA?... Got TFM ?

Too late, I already did. He just doesn't know because a note sent via carrier pigeon takes a long time to get from NC to Iowa...

I think we all have an unhealthy obsession with Russ. The stalker has become the stalked.

So long as your rabies and tetanus shots are up to date, and you don’t engage in adult entertainment with him, he is quite safe. As has already been established, just keep him away from the sheep and other livestock.
