"outer damage". More like - there's absolutely nothing wrong with them at all, however if they label them as open box they get around Polk's MAP pricing and can over ridiculous deals.

Received badly damaged boxes, one damaged cabinet and one cabinet that either wasn't finished with detail or was 'retouched'. I'd say the 'open box' is a bit optimistic from what I received.
In all likely hood these are being replaced, so, this is a sale to reduce stock before the new line arrives. -
