I've run through a number of speakers over the past couple of years with varying levels of satisfaction, but there has been one pair on my radar that I have really wanted.

    I just had time to get them set up this morning before work, but I haven't hooked them up yet.

    I've heard them twice before and loved them, though. I know a room can play a big part in the sound, but I am very optimistic that these will be the ones to hang around for awhile. Actually, I know for sure. My wife told me so... :):):)

    As far as the looks go, you basically get what you get. A black sock... I know that would be a turn off for some people, but I'm ok with the look, and the slim speakers work well with our living room space.

    As far as listening goes, I can't get this stupid grin off my face. I'm frantically pulling out different albums and checking out my Spotify playlist, just to find different songs that I want to hear on these and they are pretty much slaying everything.

    I'll give my formal thoughts after some time with them, but these are a home run for my listening tastes. This folded ribbon tweeter is giving me the openness I have been craving. And the built in subwoofers really produce a strong bottom end.

    So these are actually a little bit different than say the Polk LSi25 powered subs.

    An internal amplifier powers two 5"x9" oval woofers on the front of the speaker. Then on both sides of each speaker there is a 7"x10" passive radiator.

    Awesome!!! I didn't know you got them! I know they aren't everyone's taste but I have heard them a few times and I was impressed with them. I had the Def Tech sts and I thought the t2 from Goldenear sounded much better with better integration between frequencies. They took everything my friends or the store and I threw at them with ease.

    It wasn't planned for sure, but they have been on my radar and a good opportunity came along, and I figured it was just the right time. Now I have to sell those EPOS Epic 2's and the Krell to finance them. Then possibly pick up a tube amp or integrated.
