I've been given the green light

Ok, I'm a happy boy!! Caety just gave permission to purchase an amp to mate to the karma speakers I just received.

So in that vein, I'm throwing myself at the mercy of the forum for suggestions on a small form factor amp (tube possibly) that sounds good and won't break the bank. I know I can add Bluetooth with an add-on, but if there's an integrated out there...

Find a used Acurus A 250, you wont regret it. o:)

Ummm was hoping for something smaller, and that definitely doesn't have any WAF. Think half rack sized.

Ok full disclosure: her studio is all of 6x7... 4 tube watts would be more than enough. In most cases I would side with Tim Taylor, but budget and WAF constraints prevail...

Tried googling that an only got a vintage tube amp for a hit, and at almost 16" wide it's kinda big... Got a lint to what you're thinking about?

Edit: found it! Wired 4 sound... Yeah, they're expensive! :# I don't mind used and was hoping to keep it in the 300 or less range. I always wondered about the larger headphone amps with the tube pres and wondered how'd they hold up since I know some have 5-ways in the back...?

If you don't need a ton of juice, How about a Parasound HCA-600, Acurus A80, or an older Carver 0.5t? All are pretty close to half-rack. Some of the Rotel stuff is fairly thin.

I'm probably using half rack incorrectly. What I mean is half width, hight isn't as much an issue.

How about a PS Audio Sprout? Features are 50WPC Amp, Phonostage, 24-Bit Asynchronous DAC, and aptX Bluetooth Receiver. Slightly over budget but she might like it's features.

Probably ur best option, and u can find a better deal used: http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PAZAMPV3&variation=BLK&gclid=CjwKCAjwuvjNBRBPEiwApYq0ztkajdfR3eG6L04MdEgPIWIHlRLwmt3ZR1rDwxfk9ob6MVf4yL75xhoCL8YQAvD_BwE

I will say that when I had one briefly I compared it to an audiosource amp200 (not exactly an audiophile amp lol) and the audiosource destroyed it power wise. More bass, better dynamics and authority, everything was better. But driving Polk monitor 5s with peerless newrfiled in my office, the parasound was GREAT.

Daytons t-amp is also a good option for efficient speakers in a small space...
Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es; Squeezebox Touch with Bolder Power Supply
    Game Room 5.1.4:
Denon AVR-X4200w; Sony UBP-x700; Definitive Technology Power Monitor 900 mains, CLR-3000 center, StudioMonitor 350 surrounds, ProMonitor 800 atmos x4; Sub - Monoprice Monolith 15in THX Ultra

Keep 'em coming guys!! I'm looking at all suggestions.

So far the sprout and spark are the for runners... Both a bit higher than I was hoping but if I add a BT receiver to the spark, they're in a dead heat.

    I'm also searching, here's what I found:

    NAD D 3020
    TEAC AI 301DA

Any experience with those? Crutchfield has both listed at 400, so they're very close to the above options.
