PSB Goldi verses Energy Veritas 1.8?

Hi, I am using a pair of PSB Goldi speakers right now with some B&K gear. i also have Vandersteen 2c speakers which seem to more then hold their own. There is a pair of Energy Veritas 1.8s available. They are a ways away so going just to listen is kind of a trip. I have never heard any of that line. Can someone give me a general idea what they sound like compared to the above speakers? Music is classic rock, blues and such. Also they would run twice the money of the PSBs so not sure if it would be worth it. Thanks
