Center Speakers

Currently using Polk CS10 for my center speaker. Would a CS245 be a downgrade or upgrade?

Don't think it would be much either way. CS10 is a newer model. What are your other speakers? What AVR are you using?
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

I would stick with the CS10. If you want to move up next would be the Signature S30 or TSX250C. I have both and find them very good center speakers. RTi line centers need to be matched with RTi speakers. I sold my CSi5 which is a monster center but it didn't blend very well with my Signature S60 towers.

For a center speaker it is best to find a good match to your main L/R speakers.

    What are your L/R speakers?
do you have a sub in the mix?
