    Never heard of it before, and before seeing the receipe, I was concerned that something like Rocky Mt. oysters would be involved.

    Definitely want to try that. (the receipe, not the "oysters". )

    Texas caviar is yummy

    I also like to take diced red fish and shrimp cooked in lime juice like ceviche and stir it in the TX cav mix

    There is a Vietnamese recipe, thin sliced raw rare beef cooked in lime juice and herbs that is to die for. I have tried making it at home, and tried it one other place in Houston....but
    @halen wife makes it the best...it f-ing rocks...great with beer too
