Who upgraded from Rti70 to Rti8?

I know the latter is a newer model but I am not sure if I should let go of my Rti70. Any thoughts Polks? Thank you.

    Depends on what you want. Personally, it seems like a lateral move so unless you really like the looks it might not be worth the hassle. I prefer larger jumps but that's just me. I went from the a full Rti HT, to Lsi7, to SDA2B, to a full Lsi HT. My favorite pair of speakers so far was the SDA2B because they were $50 and sounded great. They're in the closet now though because I also love the Lsi sound and I've got the older tweeters in the SDA which aren't as nice as the vifa in the Lsi. They also look a lot better and my wife likes that.

    I went from Rti powered off a receiver to Lsi with a decently powerful amp. Big difference in sound but since I bought the Rti new and Lsi used, similar price.

    What's your budget for upgrading? Or do you just have "the itch"?
