    Ha....an alien thread, must be a slow week. lol

    Seems to me anyway, given the size and scope of the cosmos, it would be immensely foolish to think we are the only ones in it.

    The powers at be have already identified over 1000 planets in the so called Goldilocks zone of other stars. That's the zone needed to sustain life, such as our planet is in the same zone in relation to our star/sun.

    ....and that's just a fraction of what our limited technology allows us to see. If you subscribe to the theories of evolution, it would no doubt apply to other planets in these Goldilock zones....some having a few billion years head start on us too.

    Heck, we are still discovering new species on our own planet, even some thought extinct. Earth is like the needle in the haystack by comparison to the cosmos, maybe even less than a grain of sand.
