Replacement chips for DF17000/NPC5813 and YM3623. The DAC becomes fully 24bit/96kHz compatible after the upgrade.
By replacing the the old SPDIF receiver and Digital Filter ICs with the latest, 24/94 compatible, the DAC becomes absolutely top notch. The upgrade offers not only the latest specs but also huge improvement in sound quality.
Upgrading these D/A converters is very easy since all important IC's are mounted in sockets, so the whole procedure involves simply pulling the right ones out and replacing them with the appropriate adapter board.

I forgot to mention that this is compatible with Parasound DAC 800 or DAC 1000 but will replace any DF17000/NPC5813 and YM3623 chips.
