So if $300.00 is a Smokin deal on Lsi9's what do you guys think is Smokin for Lsi15's?
and what is an average price on a set in very good condition?

LSi9s in very good condition alone for $300 is a GREAT deal; with an LSiC it is definitely smokin!

Unfortunately, @K_M with all the deals on LSiMs lately, the LSi used prices have taken a severe hit. I have 2 LSiCs, 2 LSi15s and 4 LSiFXs I have been trying to sell and people are hitting me up for under $200/speaker. The argument thrown around in these negotiations have been the aforementioned LSiM deals.

Sellers lie all the time. I was in Vegas a couple of months ago and saw an ad for some Polk SRS 2's. I called the seller and he assured me that the speakers were in good condition. As soon as I saw them I pointed out several damaged areas. He responded to me that he had to fudge the condition in order to get potential customers out to his place in order to possibly sell them. Needless to say I passed on them. :|

True that. You have a point.

    I don't mind driving 5h round trip for a pair of lsi9.

But I would be quite upset if I drove 5h for nothing.

I drove 5 hrs round trip to buy a quad for my son. When I got there it was noticeably ridden rough and didn't sound good in the clutch. I passed on it. It sucked but the next weekend I made an 8hr round trip for the same exact quad but in waaaay better shape. Same money too

I drove from PA to FL and back for my LSi-FX's! :p

Does it count that it was combined with a little vacation?

Like Jose, I got them from the late Geoff (G-2). Met his dad but would have loved to have actually met Geoff. Super nice guy in the brief conversations I had with him before he passed.

Stop thinking about it and do it Jayman! Did you really think we'd tell ya otherwise? >:)
