Preamble: I stand in awe of folks (some of whom are doubtless represented in this group!) who have perfect pitch or can hear absolute polarity, etc. Heck, I think a little synaesthesia would be cool & handy (although perhaps a bit distracting)! I am pretty ill-equipped in those regards, in the interest of full & complete disclosure.

With that being said: My son sent me this link.

You'll have to scroll down the splash page to find links to the "Music Tests" links for:
* Tonedeaf Test
* Adaptive Pitch Test
* Rhythm Test
* Associative Musical Visual Intelligence

Note that, as I type this, I've tried identically zero of these -- but they certainly look intriguing.
YMMV

;)

    When I was a kid I walked into our local record shop, and the owner who was an older guy who gave musical instrument instructions, was listening to a Carpenters album on the shop's system. He was gazing at the ceiling as if in a dream. When he noticed me, he just looked at me and said, "Karen Carpenter has perfect pitch!"

    All I know is she sure had a beautiful voice.

    One in a million (maybe even a billion).
