Basically an onkyo with more features, perhaps a little better built. Model number?

I have a 30.3. I'm very happy with it. The only issue was the dreaded hdmi board failure. They fixed mine out of warranty at no charge. If I were you, I would pass since you'll have to pay for the repair if/when the board fails.

I have a DTM-40.4 stereo receiver driving the tweeters on my RT-55's (*a Carver TFM-25 is driving the woofers*) mine suffered from the audio chip issue that so many Onkyo/Integra receivers/preamps suffer from if it ain't the HDMI board. It was repaired for free under their program. So was my Onkyo PR-SC5509 preamp when the audio chip went down. I got the 5509 for free from Onkyo to replace my 5508 that had the HDMI board issue. It too was out of warranty.

If you already have that receiver, it would be fine for any of the rtia speakers except the A9's.

Sorry meant the RTi series not the RTia series. I I have Rti4's for front heights and surround , RTi 10's for fronts , CSi 5 center and PSW 125 subs . How will the Integra work out with that?

If you don't have the receiver yet, I would look at Marantz or Yamaha. If you do have it you will be fine. Maybe add a 2 or 3 channel Amp down the road. RTi speakers love that extra power.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

I got an Adcom 5400 to Run the RTi10's if necessary. I also got a Marantz 5008 but not that happy with it. Trouble with it blacking out the pictures ever so ofter for a couple of seconds. May be the HDMI board I guess.

Anyone have any idea on what would cause the blackout on the Marantz?

Anyone have any idea on what would cause the blackout on the Marantz?

Could be a hand shake issue between TV and hdmi board. You could run HDMI cable to TV and let the marantz handle sound
