I have what I'm pretty sure are original SDA SRS speakers. How can I verify what they are, and how much are they worth?

    Indeed, you have the original SDA SRS. You can check past sales on eBay and Hifi Shark for values.

    Thanks guys, my dad bought them new when we lived in Germany in the '80s. Ive had them sitting in a closet for a few years. I'd keep them just for sentiment, but I'm moving and need to downsize.

    The only way to say for sure is by checking the IC socket. Is it pin/blade or blade/blade? The label on the back is not reliable as Polk used up old stock parts on other speakers. If it's pin/blade you have SDA SRS 1.2's and they can be TL'd. If it's blade/blade they are Original SRS and cannot be TL'd.

    SL2000 tweeters will be in the original SRS and 1.2. That won't tell you anything. Interconnect socket is the only way to properly identify them.
