Hey all,

I've been the recipient of some amazing generosity on the part of many fine forum members lately and I'm looking to pay it forward by offering up a Stir it Up turntable by House of Marley. It has a built-in preamp so if you don't have one, the built-in will get you started. There is also a USB port for transferring records to digital files on your computer. I have the original packaging and I will double box it as well.

In order to submit a valid entry, please pick a number between 1 and 500 and tell me what is you're favorite record of all time (yes, you have to pick one).

You must have at least 150 posts on the forum to enter. I will let this run until Monday evening @ 8 pm Central.

Good luck to everyone who enters!

Hello Halo. I'm not in but I must say, cool Karma.

FWIW, I'll add my all time favorite LP - Little Feat's "Waiting for Columbus, Live" double LP Mo-Fi 180g. I must have 8-9 versions of this album and 3 of them on LP are smack wore out. Been listening to this album since I was a little bit higher than knee high to a duck.

That is a fine pressing of a fine recording and a fine live album.

    This is an outstanding Karma.
I am tempted but I'll pass along my slot to another, more deserving forum member (having benefited tremendously from the kindness, generosity & patience of folks here myself)!

    Good luck to all!

In with 398. If I win it's not for me directly but for a budding audio buddy looking to get in to vinyl. My favourite is Chuck Mangione Feels so Good.

And my favorite LP of all time would be The Beatles VI. It is the record that got me started in the hobby of audio.

Favorite record is a tough one but I will say Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks, as that is the one I go back to most frequently and love it every time I listen to it.

I'll go with my birthday, in with #417.

It's hard to pick a favorite as that changes, I'll say my favorite RIGHT NOW is Couldn't Stand the Weather by SRV. For those out there who only listen to mainstream music from the last 25 years or so put this album on and crank up the volume, this will teach you what dynamics sound like!
