Chuck Barris, CIA Hitman. Check out "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" starring Sam Rockwell as CB. Supposedly true. Weird movie, weird guy, but fun.

I really liked the Gong Show -- it was Dada television :)
Great stuff, very much of its time.

Funny thing is -- I thought he (Chuck Barris) was dead already.
(until I heard this on the news today)

Yea..Gong Show was great ad lib comedy...I remember one show Gene Gene the Dancing Machine was doing his thing and Jaye P. Morgan got so wound up,she undid her blouse and flashed!...Also remember The Unknown Comic telling about a Hollywood party he was at and asked Wilt Chamberlain what was going on up there..and Wilt replied that it was raining and spit on him...great stuff!...
