    Just caught up with the thread, and I am just amazed at how well things are going. To think only a few years ago none of this was possible, and now it is almost routine. The body is an awesome machine that can be fixed, modded, and tweaked as we learn more about it.

    To her and the family, stay positive and strong. At some point this will just be a good story to tell at gatherings. My thoughts are definitely with her.

    I was thinking ("Oh Oh"), in the few days left before Courtney comes home, you may want to stop by the vet's office and pick up some tranquilizers for Mr. Slobbers, your pug (not sure what his name is, but all pugs could/should be called Mr. Slobbers).
    When Courtney comes home and he sees her, he's going to have a pug fit of Biblical proportions. Couldn't blame him, but a pug with a full head of steam barreling into you at Mach 10 isn't quite the fun one thinks it is !
    .... and they do it on purpose, too. Don't let them fool you. They're ornery. :D
