My daughters heart is failing her, and she will need a heart transplant in the near future, some of you that have been here for sometime know a little about her situation, but when she was ten days old she had to have a heart transplant, and she was lucky to get one, and the doctors told my wife she would be lucky to see twelve years of age, well she is twenty years of age..

I should back up a little, my daughter is actually my step daughter, but my daughter nonetheless, you know what I mean, and her and her mom came into my life when she was five, so I wasn't there during the first transplant, but I was there during a rejection in 08..

We always knew the dark days would come back one day, but you're never prepared for it no matter how much you think you might be..

The toughest part is how does one hope for one to die so your child may live? It's a horrible feeling inside and just not right, let alone wondering if one will come, or where she may be on the list..

When I met Michelle, and learned of her daughter, I always wondered if I could handle something so heavy or if I wanted to.. well we have been together for 15 years now, and the thought of her voice being silenced in this house just seems more than my heart can handle...

Anyway, I have a few guys on here to take care of, and a few things to ship out this weekend, after that I'm not sure where my head will be at or how much I will be popping in and out, but I do promise to take care of the guys I said I would...
