    and when I interview someone with a degree and they don't know what port 80 is.... not working for me
    When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

    Seriously, we interviewed around 20 people for level 2 desktop support. only a few know what port 80 is. I tossed in an old one and asked if the knew what a terminator did. The same few who did their homework in class knew. Gee and I am the warehouse manager...

    If I don't use it daily then I don't waste brain cells on it. That's what Google is for. The real question is what is the purpose of port numbers in TCP and UDP.
