Just back from NAMM

After listening to my kids play every instrument in the joint, it was time for Dad to check out the headphones.
Went end to end on Audio Technica, Sennheiser and Shure and found I liked the usual suspects.
As I just picked up an iPhone 7, was glad to see Shure is coming out with a lightning cable with built in DAC that sounds terrific ... perfect for travel (I use memory foam for isolation).
Far and away though my favorite phones today were the Blue Sadie. Detail, soundstage and incredibly comfortable. If not now, soon.
