I enjoyed my B&K, and honestly it was not near as powerful as your 200.2, but I found making the switch there was an immediate and very noticeable difference. I cannot think you would be sorry.

I went from B&K, Parasound, and Conrad-Johnson solid state, all 200 watters.
That McCormack was above them all.
And of course, there is never a guarantee your ears will feel the same. But, I doubt you would lose much, or any, money, trying it out. McCormacks hold value well.

I just got a DNA-1 yesterday, so far I am really impressed with it. It definitely sounds better than my B&K reference 125.2 V2 or ATI AT 1502. I will have to do some serious comparing to my Bryston 4B ST though. I see where McCormack offers upgrades and capacitor upgrades, I hate to price them though But I imagine I would do it as this amp is a keeper.

It's a natural upgrade path from those looking to come off a B&k or Parasound. Least until you can afford the Pass amps of the world. With their used prices now being what they are, these amps are a steal of a deal. Upgraded....you may get off the amp merry-go-round for a long time.

    Congrats man, nice score.
