directv remote and omni sb1 plus soundbar

Is it possible to pair my omni sb1 plus soundbar to my directv remote? If so can someone provide instructions? I've already tried all of the remote codes and had no luck.

    Hello,
    Welcome to Polk's forum. Usually remote controls from satellite dish systems aren't a good choice to use to program a Polk soundbar. Since they have to control lots of different brands they tend to confuse the soundbar. It's better to use a remote from your TV or DVD player since it usually only sends one set of commends at a time.
