Healing thoughts/prayers needed for my Mum

Hi folks, my Mum who is 77 y.o recently had a nasty fall and hit her head on the corner of a wall which knocked her out and required stitches. It appears the fall caused her dental problems which will require expensive dectal surgery to fix. The fall has also caused Mum to have intermittent problems with her equilibrium, so she is afraid of having another fall. Her thoughts also become a bit jumbled at times & she forgets what she was thinking of. This seems to have been triggered by the accident. She has had a CAT scan and examination by Doctors at the Eye & Ear hospital to eliminate any inner ear issue, but so far we don't know what is causing the symptoms she is experiencing. She is managing mild to moderate cardio hypertension & is seeing a Cardio specialist in the next 4-6 weeks to rule out anything cardio issues. She also suffers from Scleroderma and Raynaud's disease which doesn't help.

Anyway, I visited Mum tonight and she seemed diown in the dumps. Any prayers or healing thoughts from the folks here would be very appreciated. God is amazing, so I know if enough people ask, she will be healed.

Thank you folks for all your kind words and prayers. We just want to see Mum back to her old self. I'm making a deal with God, I'm going to keep praying to Him every night until she is healed.

Ouch. I dont care how old you are--that hurts. I can understand at 77 how that would make you feel helpless & scared it may happen again. I always worry about my mother @ 73 & she has fell a few times also.... Willows reply is spot on. Hope recovery goes smooth & my prayers out to her & god bless you for being there for her

@boston1450, Thank you for your kind words. Yes I agree. Mum showed me the dent in the plaster where she hit her head. It was an inch and a half high, and about 4mm deep. I cringed when I saw it. I hope your Mum stays safe and the Angels look after her.
@Willow, Thank you for your heart-felt advice. I will check in on Mum tomorrow & remind her how lucky she is, and that she is much loved.

Mums are special, Bodhi. I know how I feel whenever mine has a health issue or injury. Worrisome to say the least. My dad and I have a tendency to feel angry with her at first whenever she hurts herself unintentionally, but I know that's just panic and helplessness for someone you care very much about.

It's kind of a new struggle for me over the past ten to fifteen years or so, realizing that my parents are just human, and seeing them going through the difficulties of aging is tough. Learning to be more understanding and patient. Bit of an unexpected role reversal, feeling worry and concern for aging parents, isn't it? I never knew that would happen when I was much younger. You just never think anything can happen to them. They're rocks and superpeople when you're little. I don't make nearly enough time as I should to see and spend time with them. I need to make that a priority. We all probably should if we're not already. Sharing special thoughts and realizations I think are much appreciated by parents, which, even though I'm not one, I know is a general thankless job.
