As I set here enjoying my third cup of coffee and listening to some tunes spinning on the main system, I realize that are not too many ways to better spend a Saturday morning.

I think I may enjoy these morning sessions with coffee as much as my evening sessions with my favorite brew.

How fortunate we are to be able enjoy music in the ways we do.

Unless you have a hangover from the night before while putting them down listening to tunes. It don't stop me though a couple of excederin's a few mountain dew's and something aggressive for the tunes selection gets me through my mornings. I'm on my second Dew right now listening to Dio Lock Up The Wolves. Enjoy your morning.

I have Bob Seger on the table...loving it. Mountain Dew is amazing after a night of brew. Especially one that shared a cooler with the brew the night before.

A beer cooler ain't complete without a Mountain Dew or two for the next morning.

I was listening to live bullet. The phono section in my pre-amp is quite remarkable in making bad recordings enjoyable. The CD version isn't near as good through my system.

I have a 'greatest hits' CD that sounds pretty good.
My recollection of Live Bullet on original licorice pizza is that it was pretty satisfying to listen to. There's a copy here someplace...ought to pull it out some time.

I like the "Travelin' Man/Beautiful Loser" medley near the beginning of the album. I like it a lot, in fact (and FWIW). A lot of energy and nice dynamics to the performance. The guy (and his band) really did prove their mettle on the road in the great midwest.

Another great morning of great coffee and beautiful music. Giving Miranda Lambert's new album a listen. "To learn her" sounds damn fine.

Turns out the old Marantz AV560 pairs great with the ATI. Buttery smooth and crystal clear...2u2ckyno6oeq.jpg

Overcast and pleasantly cool....but no worries. Dunkin Donuts is across the street and I picked up a large cuppa after my morning walk.
A good start to the day. Enjoy!

x 2 on the grass Jeremy, I am looking out the window here in Columbus, actually watching it grow. Morphine playing on the music machine.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

Hi MH, the same can be said in Charlotte about watching the grass grow. Complete opposite from this time last year. Listening to Sarah McLachlan.

Jeremymarcinko, I feel fortunate when I turn on the rig, it plays all day as I am off doing other things around the house, then I walk into the stereo room and instantly get goosebumps like clockwork. With or without booze or coffee. Took me a long time to achieve that and I feel very fortunate....so I hear ya'. Enjoy.
