WTB VTL 2.5

I've moved on to a search for a good tube preamp, there are a few on my list but for right now I would like a remote control. There's been a few times where I should have asked here first so this time I will.

As of now, based on recommendations I've narrowed my search to the VTL, I would like a black unit but it's not the ultimate deal breaker.

There's a dealer near me who has a used one, it's just slightly above budget but nothing terrible. I definitely want to put the offer to buy here as well.

We came to pretty much a handshake price, I'm out of town so I should have it by end of next week. Price was fair for its condition, and it's a black unit which is what I was after.

Now I just need to start on the tubes.....
