Interesting Polk ad in September Sound & Vision

Just saw this ad, and I wonder if putting 'American HIFI' on the speaker cone(s) will accomplish anything? I guess if someone didn't know about Polk that might be informative, but will it help sales? Now if the speakers sound great then that will help sales. I guess it doesn't hurt. :)

    I remember a thread about the background changing, but didn't follow it. I wonder if these are also going to be made in China. :)
