2016 Fall Audio Bash - North Texas

You guys know how much I love hosting audio meets, and with the new house all but assured, I'm going to announce the event now:

October 22, 2016
Arlington, TX (address disclosed via PM)
"Official" Time TBA, but like the rest, its an all-day shindig.
BYOB

I'll have at least three setups going, including the Usher Be-10's that I know a lot of Polkies have been wanting to get their ears on. We close on August 22, so this gives me exactly two months to prepare. As things get settled in, I'll preview more.

Man I would TOTALLY go since I would be in Texas around that time but alas I will be heading back to Arizona just before the 22nd.

Then drop by before you leave brother. I'm in the Dallas area... Texas is a big state.

That it is, I will be flying into Dallas and staying in Austin. Once it gets closer I might send you a PM to set something up. Haven't ever had a real Audiophile audition before.

What's the hang out plan for this shin-dig? One day only, or are you guys making a weekend of it?
  • DSkipDSkip Posts: 12,902
It's a Saturday all day kind of event. If you are coming in from way out, I'll probably have a spare bed or two. It's not uncommon for a few guys to crash at my place.

Have you played 1812 overture on the BE-10's??
  • voltzvoltz Posts: 4,372
Scott's in Virginia so he'd be flying in ;) Me & Ron used the Uber driver to get ride to and from the hotel last time.

Don't think I can elaborate on that without getting banned.

You, as a well respected practitioner of the Medici arts, should know this.
    I question your credentials, quack.
