Technics SL-Q6 turntable problems.

I recently hauled out my old SL-Q6 turntable to play some LPs, and it is not working. Que ^ light is on, the turntable does not turn, and none of the front panel pushbuttons (except on/off) work. Anyone have an idea what might be wrong?

    Does it work of you give it a manual spin?
    I disabled signatures.

    Also the arm is belt driven linear tracker. Long storage can ruin the belt and cause it to break or melt which would be why the arm is not moving?....

    How do I get into the arm mechanism? I see two screws on the back to remove the cover/arm, but don't see how to get into the tracking mechanism.
