Scored a pair today at Sam's Club for $30.02!! I had to do a double-take. They were on their clearance shelf. Apparently someone bought them and returned them (because they were too small) but they look completely unused. My headphone collection is getting way too big...

I now have the Buckles and the Ultrafocus 8000s. My daughters both have the hinges (think I actually paid more for them). We have several pairs of the cheap Boom Wrap in ear headphones from Polk. I also have two pairs of Sennheisers... Might be time to thin down a bit...

I like all of the Polks we have. A quick first listen to the Buckles and they sound good, but a bit bass-heavy. Not bad, but noticeably more than the hinges and UF8000s. I imagine they'll get better once they are broken in a bit.

What are your impressions of the Buckles gudnoyez?

You said it right a tad bass heavy, I like my Senheissers better for lengthy listening periods but for a short sessions I enjoy both the Buckles and the hinges, the Hinges are not bass shy either, I enjoy having them in the collection.
