Denon DA-500 DAC issue...

In the respect that it doesn't work. The red light flashes above the respective channels when the button is pushed but no sound and the light keeps flashing. Ideas??

    Did you have a power outage ? Sometimes this happens if you have a power surge. Unplug the unit for a good hour and plug back in.

    Has anything else changed from when it was working to now ?

    No power outage. Have it on a switched outlet so shall i still inplug it? Nothing changed.

    Yeah, unplug it and wait about an hour and plug it back in. A power surge could have happened while you were out too. I'd also take it off the switched outlet and plug it directly into the wall when plugging it back in.

    If that doesn't help, pop the top and see what you can see. Look for any fuses, burnt boards, lose wires, or leaky/corroded caps.
