Installed dynamat on the interior of my cdp. This included the lid underside and any other exposed stamped steel. Also stuck some on the stationary parts of the transport. This has to be one of the cheapest and best mods I have done. I was surprised the difference it made in vocals, especially male. The midrange overall is cleaner and clearer, nice. Very easy, cheap and simple mod.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.
Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

I never bought into doing devices and all my cdp are mostly plastic except for my Sony 5 disc that got moved to my bdrm and nothing will be done to that.When I was looking for a pre/amp ages ago on E-Bay there was a NAD lined w/ sonic barrier ,so there must be something to this.
