looking for a good single channel Class D mono car audio amp any suggestions.

So I just got a Kicker 10' Comp Subwoofer and a sealed enclosure for it. I just want a bit more balanced bass filling the cab that the JBL coaxials in my Yota just can't quite do. I had no problem picking the kicker Sub, but trying to decide between an Alpine, JBL, or Kenwood amp , I would like to stay around $250 on said amp and listening to a few other brands driving the Comp R I've narrowed it down to these 3 brands.

I'am hoping one of our car audio fanatics can steer me in the right direction, with some advice on who makes the better amp kinda leaning towards the Alpine, but left the store undecided any suggestions?

The was the very same kenwood I'm considering along with this alpine same price as the Kenwood but an extra $25 for the Rux Knob.

    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500MRVM500/Alpine-MRV-M500.html

    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_109GTX500/JBL-GTX500.html

This is the JBL I'm considering same price pretty much the same specs as the others same price I liked all three of them, thanks for your input, it will be a mixed system JBL coaxils in the front, a Kenwood deck, a Kicker Sub so not sure if I should just go for the Kenwood amp to go along with the deck or the JBL, to go with the Coaxials, or just throw the Alpine in the mix.

The Kicker sub beat out the Kenwood Sub, and the JBL Sub, but a JL sub was the better of those 3 but as nice as that JL was it is a little overpriced in my opinion.

Yeah my head unit does sub control, what deck do you have and can you acces the sub control fairly easy? That's probably a good point no need to use the Rux Knob if it's fairly easy to acces the sub control on the remote of my kenwood deck while driving. The Rux Knob is easy to acces while driving with just the turn of the Knob to adjust the gain, but not a deal breaker by no means.

I bet that beast wouldn't have any problems running a 2 ohm load, great price on it, my only problem is I need one with a small footprint to go under a truck seat plus it would shake a single sealed 10 inch sub real good!!! Thanks guys.

Well ended up getting the Alpine with the Rux knob, Kickers or known more for SPL than SQ and for some reason the Alpine sounded a tad more musical than the Kenwood, the Kenwood definitely had the power and then some to make the Comp R hit hard but for some reason the Alpine sounded a little better, my buddy that helped me install it agreed. Nice fall day out my NFL team is on a bye week , I'm going on a Road Trip to burn this amp and sub in B)

Well got about 5 hours on the new Sub and amp, another rabbit hole to crawl out of, I must say the sub blends in well with the JBL'S. I think my next purchase will be those fancy spinning hubcaps for the truck so I can impress the ladies at the stop light :#
