Need Advice On Hook-Up Wire

Advice needed on some decent (budget) hook-up wire to have around while working on my Polk speaker projects. The NTE wire I was looking at comes in two voltages with slightly different specs. What would be the best choice for the aforementioned usage? The 600v wire is a little cheaper and I thought it would be the other way around. Thanks, Don
