Anybody had any experience with this model. I ran across one today that has been recently repaired has a 90 day warranty and I can bring it home and try it out. If I don't like it take it back for a full refund. I will be using it to power my recently acquired SDA 2B's. I have just recently begun to assemble a 2 channel system after a 20 year absence.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.
Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

No direct experience but that's surely got gobs of juice for your 2b's. Will be overkill, which is never a bad thing in my eyes. IIRC, it's THX or Home Theater targeted but aught to be a nice sounding amp. Power supply was replaced/repaired. It is in a local repair shop. I spotted it when I took one of my AVR receivers in for repair. It is a repair that was never picked up. They own it now and it is for sale in order to recoup what they have in it, plus some I am sure. Asking $395.00 negotiable, looks brand new. I can take it home demo, don't like bring it back for full refund. Says it is a good solid unit.

Very__ decent price, if in time you want something else, you'd probably be able to sell it at what you paid for it.

For the buck you won't get better, but I do agree with Jesse that this amp is not one of the better carver models..The Gear...
