    Lots of good stuff this year. I haven't bothered in the past, but I might check it out this year. Probably a dumb question, but what are the typical vinyl prices for each size. If there even is such a thing.

    Prices vary depending on how many copies were pressed and how rare some of the recordings are. I got one of the 3000 copies that was pressed for RSD day of the 3 lp set colored vinyl Jimmy Page and the Black crowes Live at the Greek for $30 great price. Some of the prices for the rare stuff is where you can drop a lot of coin on.

    I can imagine the Chet Atkins I want might be a little steep, and that Govt Mule will probably be around the $25-$30 dollar mark. The best part is waiting in line chatting with people, and hour or two before they open the doors, cause once they are open its a rush to get what you want. Last year was a memorable one for me I got what I wanted spent a few hours listening to local bands, then me and the wife had dinner and saw Joe Bonamassa that evening. I always look forward to RSD.

    Very interesting I missed out on vol#1 this year it's only Vol#2 I guess maybe going for the live Jethro Tull from 1970 is the one I might set my sights on instead now knowing that the Stoned Side of the Mule will be available from Amazon at the end of the month both vol 1 & 2 good to know thanks for the heads up.

    Weird and interesting eclectic alt country/folk/rock. Hard to describe. I highly recommend you give em a listen. They did a crazy fun set at Shaky Knees last year including a Zeppelin tune or two and Rocky Mountain Way.

    Sounds like that Blitzen Trapper will be a back up plan should any of the other ones I want are gone once I push my way through the crowd. The store I go to ever year does a good job of mixing these special releases in with other releases so everyone has a chance.

    Almost got the mother load couldn't get the Chet Atkins but snagged these 3, however, I got a friend that's at another store and he will look for the Chet Atkins for me, did get the Blitzen Trapper doing Neils Havest in its entirety, so all in all I did pretty good.

    Here in the Twin Cities it seems like a big event. At least according to the Current. Local public radio station. Played vinyl all day. I was too busy yanking out my old deck to make way for reclaimed pavers patio. Did score some vintage vinyl at GW and estate sale though .Peace. D
