60+, Today

This sucks but I'm in a sharing mood.

I'm not old, I'm youthfully challenged.
What goes up and never comes down? ......Your age!
In dog years your dead.
Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.
You sit in a rocking chair and can't get it going.
Once over the hill, you pick up speed.
Age is like underwear, it creeps up on you!
According to my best recollection, I don't remember.
Don't interrupt me while I'm talking to myself.
After fifty everything that doesn't hurt doesn't work!
Chronologically gifted!
Due to budget cuts, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

*Several Advantages of Getting Old*
Kidnappers are not very interested in you.
In a hostage situation, you are likely to be released first.
No one expects you to run anywhere.
People call at 9 PM and ask, 'Did I wake you?'
People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.
There is nothing left to learn the hard way.
Things you buy now won't wear out.
You can eat supper at 4 PM.
You can live without sex but not your glasses.
You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge.
You quit trying to hold your stomach in no matter who walks into the room.
You sing along with elevator music.
Your eyes won't get much worse.
Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off.
Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service.
Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.
Your supply of brain cells is finally down to a manageable size.

Happy Birthday is it 60 or + how many? At least you are not as old as Pagey, but if your only 60 you are not as old as Elvis Presley had he lived I saw on the news that it was his birthday and would of been his 80th which would of made him 20 years ahead of you.

I once read that eating mushrooms at the golf course helps one age with dignity, anyways enjoy your 60+.

    Love the anecdotes you posted.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

    Hey man, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

60 no problem, think Jack Lalanne! That dude was embarrassing 25 year olds at that age!

60 is the new 40, no? Sure feels like it to me. Let's check in again when we cross 80, I suppose we might look a little old then. But then again, I remember my father still doing pushups, pullups and situps and not just one or two or five or even 10 reps but legitimate SETS in his mid-eighties! And yes, he was completely "natural" no male enhancement or all this testosterone you dudes in your late 40s and 50s seem to think you have to have? Who's that British youtube powerlifting obsessed fitness guy who is not even 40 and he's already on male hormones because he believes in using TECHNOLOGY to remain young and strong? Geeesh. If you feel you need help at 37+, there's something wrong! Whatever happened to aging gracefully and staying in shape?

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
