QUESTIONS:-WILL BIWIRING GET ME BETTER SOUND?

Biwiring....not necessarily, but....you should swap out those cheap metal jumpers on the speakers for some good quality speaker wire.

Your Yamaha is fine for those speakers, but any speaker will benefit from additional current fed them. So the answer is, if you can afford it, look for a used Parasound or B&k amp, around 400 bucks.

ITUNES....if that's your source for music, yes....a dac would help out greatly.

Cambridge dac magic used is certainly in your ball park and probably the best bang for your buck in that price range.

Speaker wire is simply a matter of tastes, like an ice cream shop there's just too many flavors to name them all. Think of standard 14 ga as vanilla in a shop of 50 flavors. On a budget, buy cables used as they normally run half the cost of new. Kimber cable, PNF, Analysis plus, MIT, Audioquest, are just some of the more popular brands some use. Douglas connections is a company run by one of our members and offers a good well built cable for not a lot of coin too. Signal cable is another.

Like everything in audio, sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs to find your prince.

Why are the speaker cables attached to the upper binding post? I have LSI 7s and cable is on lower post. Is this wrong?

You can connect to either top or bottom whether you are using the plates or jumpers.

    opposite hand ?

Doesn't really matter which posts , top or bottom you connect to first as long as those jumpers are there.
