Momentums, lateral move or upgrade?

I can see that Kathy. For my wife I bought a number of IEMs for travel and working out, and they all hurt her ears. I finally bought these made for women cheapies on Amazon (that sound like crap) and she loves them because they stay in and don't hurt. FWIW, my wife would never wear the momentums. Even though she is a classically trained musician who has two music teachers for parents, she's all about fashion before audio quality lol. But we also live in a smallish Texas town and drive to work, so she wouldn't have much use for them...

But I will say that lots of dudes seem to like the momentums. Like I said head and ear sizes (and sensitivity) vary greatly.

I got my wife a set last year for Christmas, and she was shall we say, less than thrilled as audio basically means nothing to her... fast forward, she wears them all the time, travels with them, and loves them!

The do sound great IMO, I agree with everyone on that as well.

Every time I come across this thread, I think of D'agostino Momentums... and I keep saying to myself... it's never a lateral move to the Momentums.

I'd hate to know how much that thing goes for...however I'll use this to power my Sennheiser Momentum 2.0s. Hell I'm even going to use it as a 2 channel pre-amp this weekend to see what my big system sounds like stripped down to the essentials.

A little information on it, 1 watt per channel into 32 ohms...100% Class A operation and it does tend to get a touch....warm trust me. Probably overkill for my needs but eh...gotta have some class A power somewhere :)
