Possibly interested in one of the 3...can you tell me how many internal SATA ports they have? I need to have at least 4 total...
    Let me know.
    Thanks!

  • I have a Mini-Tower i5 and i7 (pictured here). They have four internal SATA ports. Two are in use - one for the HD, the other, for the DVD Drive.

The i3 and i5 Slimlines have three internal SATA Ports - one in use for the HD, the other for the DVD Drive, and one external SATA (eSATA) Ports.

    Post count: 666...Scary... ;)

We use the same Optis at work... (Well, my test machines are 790s but still)
Let me do some thinking as I believe one of the i5 990s should work for what I need. And worst case scenario, I can always add a PCI-E RAID card for additional drives...

BTW, you show a price for the SFF i5 990...but what is the price of a mini tower i5 990?

  • I will keep it the same price as the SFF i5 990. Reasonable offers are accepted.

I know I want it. Hehe. I just have to prioritize things. My current NAS is "good enough" but I ultimately want a media/file server to house my DVDs and Blu-Rays along with my music.

I have some stuff I need to sell before I can make it happen unfortunately. My old iPhone is going towards my headphones/amp for work.
And then I have the wheels I decided not to use for my car which should give me about 1k of mad money...if I can move them. LOL. Horrible time of year to be selling wheels. Even if they do have new tires on them.
