Marantz Stereo and CD Player For Sale

Folks,
Been really busy moving into our new home! Here are some extra goodies I have to offer:

Marantz SR4023 2-Channel Stereo Receiver. Here is a link to the specs:

Marantz CD5004 CD Player. Here is a link to the specs:

Both were purchased from authorized dealers and have warranty. The CD player was refurbished and purchased from Accessories4less with a 1 year warranty, and the stereo was purchased new from OneCall with a 3 year warranty. Both used less than 40 hours.

Pictures of the actual units coming soon. The CD player has a small scratch on the top.

They work perfect and include remotes, manuals, boxes etc.

I will cover the PayPal fees and shipping to established Polkies.

CD5004 = $160 shipped

    Eric- How do you rate the phono section on the Marantz? I have a friend looking for a nice starter 2 ch system and this looks like it would be good, but his focus is vinyl.

    I do not spin records anymore, so I have no idea about the phono. Sorry I can't help with that.

    I have a PM-5004 integrated amp form the same generation. The phono stage is one of the more impressive features. If they used the same phono stage it is quite nice.

    I also have the same CD player and am pleased that Marantz still gives a lot of SQ even in their entry level. If I weren't hung up on playing SACD's, it would be in my main system.

    Whoever gets that CD5004 is getting a heck of a deal, I own a CD5004 and a CD5003 and would not part with either. I will be saving my pennies for a SA8005 love Marantz gear! Good luck to whomever has their hopes up on a decent player at a decent price.

    I current using a Marantz 8005 SACD in my main 2 channel setup, and this will be used with my Peachtree Decco65 in my Day room for a secondary setup with my Monitor 4's :) for when I work on things on and it makes a great place to burn in cables also where the sound can be isolated from others.

    I did have a NAD CD unit for my backup but I let a friend talk me out of it...so this is a actually upgrade I think over the NAD, but the NAD was a nice unit. this one will get used a lot more .
