Dragon you do realise that the 310 series of the new line does not hae any pre outs? This means your going to pay a whole bunch of money for what may be not enough power.

The 300 has full pre outs. Did they drop them from the next model?

They still have pre outs, they just dropped from 7.1 to 5.1 on the new model.

The 310 has pre-outs but it only is 5.1 whereas the 510 and 710 are 7.1.

All Anthems have pre-outs. Thats one nice feature.

The new one also doesnt require a serial to USB adapter as its a pure USB connection. A

And IIRC the version of ARC in the new models is a bit more powerful than in the original. And of course more HDMI's lol..

I don't care about pre-outs. This is for a very modest system and I don't have room for ext. amps anyway. The 310 will have plenty of power for my needs.

Do these AVR's automatically come with the ARC kit all in the same box or is ARC sent separately?

You do get the ARC kit with them, if its not there then some one is pulling a fast one on you. I did a thread a while back with the 300's showing the content. http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?132462-Unboxing-the-Anthem-MRX300
