Just wanted to give a shout out to F1Nut/Brock for the pair of 1960 Valvo labeled 12AX7 (Holland) and the NOS 1950's Sylvania 12AU7 pair he sold to me.

I'd had an issue with a solder in the amp so had not had a chance to listen to these beauties OR to the Psvane 6AC7-t2 quad I recently bought from Grant Fidelity.

Finally got a chance to listen night before last and the new set up sounds pretty amazing. The soundstage is definitely cleaner and wider, there's more detail, and the bass has improved significantly, which is what I was initially hoping for in choosing the Psvanes.

Who knows what improvements have resulted from the input tubes vs. the outputs? But I'm a happy camper and looking forward to letting these babies burn in.

Thanks, Brock!

Enjoy! But I didn't sell you either or the tubes you mention. I sold you the 12AT7 and variants.

Hell's BELLS! I'm confused. I swear these 14 hour work days are killing me.

Brock, I'm sorry I misidentified you. I really appreciate the tubes, as well as the note u included.

I'm pretty embarrassed right now. Maybe if I close my eyes this thread will go away. :(

Thanks, Tex. I just feel bad that Brock sold me some really nice sounding tubes and the fact that I misidentified him at F1 AND listed the wrong tubes makes me sound unappreciative.

Also going through a bit of a rough patch here. Last night I dreamed I jumped from a 2-3 story building with a parachute on my back. Chute didn't those time to open, of course, but I landed on the backpack and walked away. All the while, a crowd of folks across the street watching to see if I'd end up dead. WTH?
