I am getting there! Jasper approves. One more amp to try and I'll finalize the system, but it sounds really good here right now. Then I'll try to put into words what I think of them. The two acoustic stands behind the speakers will be removed after I make some cable risers. I like to keep the AC wires away from the IC's and it's easier to clean if wires are off the floor. Some less shiny speaker spike caps are on the way as well. The two 12" NHT subs shore up the 25-35Hz range as this room is open to the main level that adds another 25 x 20 feet. With most music they don't operate at all.

I bet they sound great. My dad has a 5-channel setup built around the Salk Veracity HT3's, which use the same RAAL tweeter as in your SoundScapes. That tweeter is incredible. I think I like its treble better than the true ribbon in my 3.7's... I like the midrange of the Maggies better though... but the HT3's have better bass. Your SoundScapes should have both better midrange and bass than the HT3's, due to the Accuton midrange and dual passives, so I'm sure they are phenomenal.

SoundScapes would be on my short list of possible maggie replacements.

The combo of that Krell preamp through the W4S amps through that RAAL tweeter should produce some of the most articulate treble on the planet.

    Congrats, man!

Thank you all for the kind words!

B Run, we think ours is crossed with a Texas bobcat too!

Troy, bring a bag of salmon munchies and the cat will shut the alarm off and open the door.

Dan, when the weather clears that could happen!

Oldfatdogs, that is his carpet, I just get to use it.

GlennDog, we got KebMo here! Glad them SRS2’s are still pleasing you!

Falconcry72, I think you are spot on in your assessment! I had ESL's for several years and really love the Raal. I love the Accutron mids!

Mike, the Krell has landed! Call it crazy, I like ballsy, Ed braved the weather and delivered the Krell KSA-250 Tuesday and stayed the night. As good as the Wyreds sounded to me, the old Krell makes it better. Like me, it’s old but still has a purpose. More to come, nasty head cold.

Wow! That beast looks like the Dark Fortress of Amplitude.

Glad Ed made it safely. I'll bet it was a trip to remember in that awful weather. Also, delighted that you're digging the new setup (which allows me to be digging your old setup).

The Iceman cometh! LOL! A courageous effort by Ed, it was -5 degrees when he left my house.

It sure looks good Rich. I knew you would be pleased with the sound. I wish that I had the room for one! Congrats on the system!

I'm sure Mike is lovin your old system. I always enjoyed the big image of the Innersounds.
