Im looking into getting a 12" MM1240 for my wrangler, and a pair of 6x9" MM691s. I was hoping to power these with only one
sub, if i use a 4 channel amp, and wire one channel to each speaker, and 2 channels to the sub, is that going to provide enough
power? Or should i get more than one amp?

Yes that will work fine. Spend a little more and get a good powerful amp cause you'll want 300 watts minimum to go to the sub to have any decent performance. Something like a 75x4 would usually mean 75x2 and 300x1.

That said, you could get more power, better performance and may even pay a little less if you got 2 separate amps. A good 2 channel in the 75x2 range then a good class D that would do 400x1 at 2 ohms.

    Ok thanks that helps.
If i wanted to still just get one amp, would a PA D4000.4 provide enough power?
